New article in The Energy: What energy investment means for keeping warming below 2 °C

Our latest contribution to The Energy explores what recent temperature projections mean for the global energy transition.

Building on our Pre-COP30 brief, the article highlights that while current and announced climate targets could limit warming to around 1.8–2.0 °C, achieving this outcome depends on scaling clean-energy investment. The piece suggests that finance is needed to deliver on conditional commitments and that a roadmap to 2050 for clean energy deployment, energy efficiency, and electrification would help guide investors to keep 1.5 °C within reach.
